Heroes I Love You is an ongoing film project by Aleksandra Sende and Andrea Csaszni Rygh.

The project explores and repurposes commercial and stereotypical scenes from movies, reenacting and reshooting them with a slight shift or deviation. In doing so, it takes an active role in the consumption of cinema and opens up the possibility of re-experiencing our inner film references.

Working with our unconscious film images and focusing on gender roles, the project mixes thoughts and fantasies, activating our political bodies by trying to embody the film icons rather than merely being their spectators.
